Miley Cyrus & Justin Gaston Break Up, Cry, Twitter About It, And Then Move On Surprisingly Fast

Miley Cyrus, 16, broke up with model Justin Gaston, 20--then posted on her Twitter page that she was in a movie theater with ex-beau Nick Jonas just hours later.

"Why does saying good-bye hurt so much?" Miley tweeted.

But she soon recovered and couldn't resist letting the world know she was in a darkened movie theater with her ex, Nick Jonas.

"I'm in a dark theater writing a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)" tweeted Cyrus excitedly.

But Cyrus wasn't the only one to "go public" about the split. Gaston posted his thoughts on his Twitter feed straight away too. But he seemed a little more upset.

"How many tears are in there? They've gotta run out soon right?" wrote Gaston.

He even posted a John Mayer lyric, from "Dreaming With A Broken Heart": "Do I have to fall asleep with roses in my hands?"

Cyrus and Gaston dated for nine months. Prior to their relationship, Cyrus dated Nick Jonas for two years. And despite Cyrus's having moved on, a song called "7 Things" listed the seven things she hated about her ex only to end with: "Your hands in mine, when we're intertwined, everything's alright / The seventh thing I like most that you do / You make me love you, you do."
